Coral Gables Wine and Food Festival
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida Coral Gables Wine & Food Festival is on Thursday, March 27th, 2008.The festival is the largest and most prestigious outdoor Wine & Food Festival in Coral Gables if not, all of South Florida. Over 1,500 festival-goers will enjoy the fabulous cuisines paired with exceptional wines.
The VIP Reception will be held on Giralda Ave. from 5:30p.m.– 7:00 p.m. and the street festival following from 7:00pm – 9:00 pm. The street festival will have over 30 of South Florida’s most desirable restaurants participating from on and off Giralda Avenue. There will be live music and patrons will have an opportunity to win prizes at the Casino Lounge.
The Festival’s Honorary Chairman is Marc Buoniconti, Development Advisor for the International Bronchitis Center and Ambassador for the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Proceeds benefit Pulmonary Research at The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and local American Lung Association of Florida –South Area’s lung research, education, and patient assistance programs.

“Climb Miami," created by the American Lung Association of Florida, connects participants with an opportunity to help fight lung cancer. Participants will climb 55 flights (1,210 steps) of The Wachovia Financial Center, the second tallest building in Florida (765 feet). Last year, more than 250,000 feet were conquered by more than 400 participants resulting in over $88,000 raised for the American Lung Association of Florida.

Premier Beverage Company presents the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival being held on Thursday, May 1st 2008. The Festival takes place on Las Olas Boulevard, the most popular street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, known for its fabulous restaurants, trendy shops, and magnificent hotels.
