Publications – The American Thoracic Society (ATS) carries out much of its scientific and professional activities through its publications. The ATS’ three journals contain original scientific works, reviews, opinions and proceedings.  It’s “statements’ are clinical guidelines that have been formulated by committees of experts, based on the best evidence available and extensively reviewed.

Research – The ATS Research section outlines the ATS research funding program, offers tips on research techniques, gives suggestions and sites for grant applications, lists sources for behavioral science research (Quality of Life questionnaires) and plain talk about careers.
