Better Breathers Club
Better Breathers Club meetings are a series of educational meetings for adults with chronic breathing problems such as asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).
The Club aims to provide education and social opportunities for people with chronic breathing problems and to improve the participant's sense of well being and quality of life. Participants share experiences, concerns and accomplishments of living with shortness of breath and related conditions. Research has shown that people with proper education and support are better able to manage their disease and the health care costs associated with it.
